Madison Community Improvement Corporation
What is a CIC?
A Community Improvement Corporation is a 501 (C) (3) Corporation regulated by the State of Ohio. It is made up of a group of members comprised of Village residents, business owners, and government officials who are interested in the success of the entire community.
The members of the CIC elect a Board of Directors that establish a Code of Regulations and oversee the business decisions and finances of the Corporation.
What are the primary goals of the CIC?
Economic Development and Promotion
To provide financial and educational resources to business owners
Property and Land Ownership
To act as a fiscal agent
Who can become a member of the CIC?
Anyone who has a passion for the success of the entire community of Madison and wants to be involved in its progress. Monthly meetings will be held so that progress can be accurately communicated to all members, allowing them to be involved in the process.
Important Dates:
They meet every 2nd Thursday @ the Madison Village Fire Stations new training facility
